As with Home PC, the same is true for Mobile Computers. These are not toys or handheld gameboys and so on - they are computers. Microsoft Pocket PC runs the Windows CE Operating System and Palm the Palm Operating System. So, as with the PC it is recommended to stay tuned in to news sources about them. Many answers can be found in Forums when their are technical problems. Many Newsletters contain updates and information. It is good to stay tuned by subscribing to a few newsletters, and browsing through and joining some forums. In the Mobile Computer Community you will find much help and many genuine persons, and more importantly - answers to questions.

Now you can easily use your Pocket PC to read the message board at Discuss.CEWindows.NET. To do so, you must register and create a profile. In the profile you will see an option for the Board Style. Select the option for Mobile to use the version optimized for the Pocket PC. You can easily switch back by selecting the option for the Board Style called subSilver.

SPECIAL NOTE.... These groups below unfortunately have been abandoned by the owners/creators. This is a common aggravation at Yahoo Groups in the pda gatagory groups. Do NOT bother to join them because list harvesters and spambots continually post spam all day and night. For proof, simply join and then click "Members" and then click the "Bouncing Members" after viewing the member count on the front page of the group. You will also find that practically all of thousands and thousands of addresses have been bouncing for years ! Sorry, but people need decent Group Owners and Moderators that are live and moderating messages and members - but there seems to be none out there.
